How to update your Facebook Ad Account payment threshold
How to update your Facebook Ad Account payment threshold

Manage how often you are billed for your ads by adjusting your payment threshold in Facebook Ads Manager.

Updated this week

Symphony runs ads through your Facebook Ad Account, including campaigns on platforms like Instagram. Facebook charges you based on your ad spend and your account’s billing threshold. Setting this threshold slightly above your expected monthly marketing spend helps you manage payments more effectively.

Updating your Payment Threshold

  1. Go to the Billing section in your ad account

  2. Click Payment settings

  3. Look for When you'll pay in the Current balance section

  4. Click the pencil icon on your Payment threshold

  5. Enter the amount for the new payment threshold.

    • Tip: Set it slightly above your expected monthly spend. For example, if you spend $100 per month, se the threshold at $150 for convenient monthly billing.

  6. Click Save.

Note: Lowering your threshold takes effect immediately, while increasing your threshold may take some time to process, as Facebook needs to successfully charge your account at the current threshold a few times before approving an increase.
