How do I disable automatic adjustments to my campaigns?

Learn how to disable automatic adjustments to your campaigns.

Updated this week

Your ad account has a section for managing rules/adjustments that are made to your campaigns when specific criteria is met, for example, creating a rule that automatically pauses campaigns if the cost-per-conversion is greater than a set threshold.

Some rules can be good for managing multiple campaigns, while others can raise concerns when your ad suddenly stops delivering or all your ad sets have been combined into one. This causes issues with the way Symphony structures your campaigns and ad sets. Your ad account may have predefined rules set by Meta, enabled by default.

Disable automatic adjustments

  1. Navigate to the Automated rules section in Ads Manager here.

  2. Click See automatic adjustments.

  3. Toggle Automatic adjustments off then Apply changes.
